So do most of the 6th graders get recommended for pre-algebra in 7th? The minimum qualifying scores are not all that high.

Algebra 1 in 8th gets you to Calculus in 12th following the standard progression.

Rising 7th family. Last year's summer letter came in late June/early July. We've now heard from families at multiple middle schools that their kids' SOL scores and math placement letters are posted in ParentVue. Our school hasn't posted, no idea why.


Rising 6th family – ours just got posted to ParentVue this afternoon.


Dude there’s a handful of MS. just say the School so everyone doesn’t have to go searching in ParentVUE.


I didn’t say which one because I thought this was driven by the school year that was just finished – and my kid just finished 5th. Sorry! I wasn’t trying to be coy or anything. If it matters, HBW.

Those individual decisions were just made so I doubt percentages are available yet.
