If they weren't going to endorse him someone in the mayor's office should have talked him out of running. The way they strung him out to dry was mean.

Phil represents the core NIMBY vote in the Ward. That is it.

And I was surprised how poor Phil Thomas did. He worked so hard pounding the pavement.
Most likely people gave up and voted for Eric over him when they figured Phil didn't have a chance.
But it was clearly Deirdre Brown who ran the worst campaign.
Nothing ever original or insightful came out of her mouth. Always spoke in generalities.
And instead of taking matching donations, she funded her campaign. So she had 30k in her campaign, while everyone who matched had 100,000

In the latest batch, Frumin hold a 4955-4044 lead with only the mail in stragglers left. That won't be more than 100-200 votes.
