It seems to have been locally dependent.

The 8th grade at TPMS went to Six Flags last week. The entire music department at TPMS went to Hersheypark the week before for a festival. The 6th grade had day trips for their Outdoor Education instead of the overnights.

At PCES, the 4th grade had their usual trip to St. Mary's, but the 5th grade did not have their annual trip to Philadelphia, nor did the 5th grade CES do their usual trip to Mt. Vernon.

Jesus. He’s a volunteer on the Board. He does it for her, I’m sure. He doesn’t profit off of KID Museum. I have no affiliation to KID beyond taking students there on field trips, but I can’t stand misinformation campaigns.

Joshua Starr is on the board for who? her? Joshua Starr's wife worked there = profit. Scott Joftus' wife owns it = profit in the millions.

The fact is that's a very convenient place to take kids on a field trip which is both fun and educational. Sorry you can't see past your blind hatred of public educaiton.

A couple of things to mention here. Buses have been much harder to get this year. School bus drivers have had to fill in more for absent drivers, so that means they are less able to do field trips during the day.

Private coach buses run about $2000 each per day right now. A lot of schools just couldn't justify the expense.

As other have mentioned staff have been overwhelmed this year. Planning field trips takes a lot of time, communication and paperwork.
