Sean Ferguson is a famous Jewish name.
Yehudi Mosowitz scrimps and saves and can finally emigrate to America. His friends advise him to change his name so he can fit in better, and work with him on a classic "American name". When he gets to Ellis Island the immigration officer asks him his name and he says in Yiddish "Shoyn fargessen!" (I've forgotten).
The immigration officer makes a note and says "Right, Sean Ferguson."
