This salad dressing turned me from a salad hater to a salad LOVER. Not just a salad tolerator. I am eating home made salad right now:

I can also get it at our local grocery stores, so you might be able to as well.
I also really don't like a lot of lettuces, so I went with romaine (skewers? where you buy it in a 'head' but the shape is more like a corn in a husk). I also will buy the butter lettuce head in the plastic container with the roots.

In my salad, I vary it as to what is in the house, but below is a perfect day where I have everything:
I start with some dry goods: salted macadamia nuts, raw almonds, one Brazil nut for selenium, pepitas, and dried cherries.
Then I add cut up a green apple, some carrots and celery (I put the celery in a glass cup with a little water in the bottom in a sunny window and it greens up)
Then I add blueberries and raspberries, and this time of year, a peach or an apricot
Can add a hard-boiled egg for protein if you want
Then I put in the greens after chopping them up (so I don't have to slog through 1000 chews of greens)
Then the dressing (I do this in this order so the dressing gets mostly on the greens). Don't skimp. I've decided to buy multiple bottles of dressing as overall I will eat this salad more, than if I only have one bottle and am worried that I'm running low.
Toss...then
Sliced/cubed avocado on the top and then toss again. (Hint with avocados: buy green and hard and the shiniest you find. Then put in a dark drawer to ripen. This is because it's impossible to buy a ripe avocado that someone hasn't squeezed and bruised. They are so good when ripened this way, you can actually cut them in quarters and peel off the rind.)
