I dunno, DS did fine on the Science SOL last year. Not sure that slides were the issue.


I think its supposed to be material for several years, so maybe his teachers were more engaging in the previous years, or maybe he just loves learning off google slides.

My kid passed proficient reading, barely passed math, and brutally flunked science.

Their teacher had them cramming science for two weeks before the test, on printouts that were just page of random information. They never do actual hands-on science in class.

I 100% agree to this. Science was so uninspiring. My kid passed but learned nothing to inspire.

It is the difference between unofficial (now) and official results (summer). Most likely your kids scores won’t change.
