I’m a teacher who will wear masks in future cold and flu seasons. I teach pre-k and haven’t been sick at all this year, even after my students unmasked. It’s awesome.


People used to believe in leeching. There's 100+ years of research on masking for flus and colds pre-COVID and they did not work.

Masks haven't worked for COVID either. Even the NYTimes is admitting it now too - they worked in lab experiments (arguably), but not in real life.

My 8th grader will join older sibling at private HS. Omg. I haven’t had a single complaint in 2 years with the private HS and I’m someone that could find anything to complain about. It has far exceeded expectations.

COVID is NEVER going away is what I meant to say.


No sh1t. Certainly not with people running around like idiots.

We know it’s here to stay. So when #s go up, we mask up and do fewer indoor events. When #s go down, we go mostly back to normal. I think many people will mask up at doctor’s offices, etc going forward.

It’s not that complicated.

WTH? Masking works.

Duran has been going around giving out awards in schools. He recently gave one to my son’s amazing teacher. I’m thankful they all masked up and didn’t spread covid to me because I need to go care for my elderly father this weekend.

That’s what considerate people do when they are around large groups of people during a surge.
