Pearson paid for Jerry Weast and his wife to spend two weeks in Australia days after Weast rammed through a deal with Pearson to turn MCPS curriculum into Pearson curriculum. The deal tanked and the expected revenue never appeared.
The day Weast arrived back from Australia he was told he was canned and his contract would not be renewed.
