Compared to what? I find the traffic pretty standard- it does get pretty bad immediately upon heading towards Loudon. But I find getting around the actual city fine because there isn’t huge shopping center bringing more traffic- like a Target, Whole Foods, etc. Route 50 heading east is surprisingly not terrible. I drive it almost daily and have a very reliable and non-frustrating commute to Arlington.

Did anyone think Garret Park was underrated, though? Agree that it’s lovely. It’s just a small housing stock with maybe no realtors pushing for it on DCUM, so it just doesn’t get talked about as much.

Garrett Park, specifically the Victorians between the MARC station and Strathmore Rd. Quiet village with a post office, pool, park, and restaurant that’s walkable to a MARC and a Metro. Gorgeous housing stock and when the development comes in on top of Strathmore Metro, on the Holy Cross campus and at old White Flint site it will get even more desirable.

Frost/Woodson pyramid of Annandale. Especially north of Braddock. The worst thing is no restaurants but you can get to Mosaic so quickly.
