Love, love, love the name Grace! My biggest regret is marrying someone with a last name that basically rhymes with Grace rendering me unable to name one of our children that. J/k. Maybe.

It's popular, sure, but it's timeless. I had a great grandma Grace (born in 1901!) -- there's a reason it's persevered for so long.

It's classic and strong and pretty. If you like it, go for it!

I wanted the Irish version -- Grainne (pronounced "Granya") but my MIL is named Grace and I would rather die than name a child with that biddy's name.

Grace, Marie, Ann/Anne, Rose are the middle name equivalent of Ava, Emma, Sophia, and Olivia. So common and predictable.

No it's not. It couldn't be plainer which is why it's often used as a middle name. Same with Ann, Rose, and Lynn.
