I don't know how luxury Lexus is anymore, but we love our RX350. We have the two-row, but it's a great reliable car. we lease it and have been doing so for 13 years now. great car and I like how the design has gotten sleeker/sportier over the years.

Everything else mentioned here is terribly boring

Sure, let me just write a check for that from my $1 million checking account.

My GLS gets 30 mpg on the highway. My prior one got 22.

I had a 2008 GL diesel and I often lament trading that in. Wish I kept it. Great mileage and only started breaking down at 80,000 miles then it was at Euro quarterly. The gas suspension just dropped. Then weird engine issues. Then transmission. But it was awesome until then and economical on dueled. I think I got over 30 on highway trips.

I like Mercedes these days. Luxury vehicles are about the feeling. Go sit in them. Drive then around. Pick the one you like the best. Forget the haters, they are poor for a reason.

Lexus definitely has been the most reliable for us, and has lasted a long time.

I thought that was Volvo. I was so excited about the roll out of the new XC 90 and came within inches of buying one. The dealer I was working with out west whispered to me to reconsider. I did. I think Consumer Reports rates them poorly for reliability. It makes me so sad.

A Volvo dealer told you that? Lol

The Mercedes gle 450 is really nice, especially with the AMG package.

I’ve had range rovers for years. As long as you lease, they take care of any problems. I would not buy one.

I’ve also been liking the look of the new genesis suv. The tiger woods one. It’s pretty hot.

Such an odd post, knocking on Lexus but praising Range Rovers and Hyundais...

Lexus is good option, though not sure what OP is really looking for.

Not Hyundai. Genesis. Looks like a Bentley, but better.

It’s still a Hyundai, dude.

And those who have Lexus love their Toyotas and so forth and so on.

Compare Toyota/Lexus depreciation to Hyundai/Kia/Genesis.

Luxury cars are meant to be leased even in today’s much changed leasing market with money factor snd residual. Costs of repair after 3 years can be daunting with the myriad electronic systems/sensors, adjustable suspensions, and the like.
