No, I was waiting at the light on Rockville Pike and it appears that every guy student leaving Georgetown Prep owns a pristine, never-been-offroad Jeep Wrangler. I don't think any are available for the dads.

I'm waiting for more Teslas to hid the used car market so I can afford one. Yes, Teslas and other electric models are everywhere in DC. Not so much back home in PA.

Awesome ride. I don't have a Tesla because I bought a new car few years ago when I wasn't ready to buy a Tesla. My next car will be Tesla or nothing if they get the robotaxes working.
I do have huge amount on Tesla stock though.
Had I ever had the pleasure of sitting in one, I would have bought the stock even earlier. Model 3 was way under $50k not long ago.
"Don't be an early adopter of the technology, but do buy the stock". The car is like a rocket ship and quite safe.

I don’t understand people who think Teslas are a luxury item. Their best selling models are the 3, which can be had under $50K, and the Y, which probably averages $10K more now than the 3. People who think these are very expensive cars have not seen the prices of cars - any cars- lately.

The S and X however are very pricey.

The superchargers are very fast and are programmed so that the first 15 minutes is super super fast — after that the charging speed diminishes somewhat so there is less incentive to sit around and fill a supercharger spot. I guess if you can drive 6 hours without peeing, then the charging is irritating. I need to pee every few hours anyway so it’s NBD for me to stop to charge. They are usually at a sheetz or a strip mall so you can grab a drink.


Love the Sheetz breaks! They really aren't any sooner than we would stop for a bathroom anyway.

I hate peeing on road trips so I like the longer range.
