Who is bashing the school? People are saying the building and area is awful and they would not send their kid there. Just facts. Do you dispute this?

I mean... it's bad. We're not sending our kid there if they get in. But I am curious to see how the WL goes.

While the outside of the building is less than ideal, we toured the building and on the inside they have built out a pretty great space. The staff were all engaging and warm. It is temporary space and well worth the having a plan other than our IB middle school and high school for all my kids. We are really excited for this opportunity.
I wouldn't get carried away. It's an antiseptic commercial space with a large block of windowless interior rooms. The temporary aspect is the only redeeming factor. I am concerned that space is remarkably tight for potential permanent locations and it needs to accommodate HS programming
How is it any different from Basis? That space is awful for a school.

The Latin II bashers ARE ON the waitlist and are trying to get it moving in their direction.
They want other people on the waitlist to turn it down.
Just like everyone in Ward 6 saying they are sending their kid to the in-bounds feeder MS....then doing the lottery and if they get Latin I, Latin II, or Basis....go OOOPS, sending my kid there.
