Not sure if that makes a lot of sense. The 26 stars team was pretty decent so more of a lateral move for those that went there.
Weren’t the majority of Cap 25s Pride players?
No. That’s not actually true. But people love to repeat it.

Coaches? Ball hogs? Drama? Mean girls?

The value of a recruiting director isn't for UA 150 girls who are targeting top 20 schools. Its for the girls who are just trying to play D1. Top schools know who can play and who can't.
The only info most top players need is
1) Take your SATs before September of your junior year
2) Put together 5 good minutes of film showcasing the position you want to play in college
3) Start emailing coaches the summer of your freshman year
4) Go to camps of your top targets during your freshman summer and sophomore year
95% of all recruiting directors provide this.
For lesser players, they really need someone pulling for them and this is where a recruiting director matters.

The 2027s will be a different story especially since that Stars team has never had any scaffolding for success.
27 Capital will be different than year's past mainly because BLC has 11-13 girls who would likely make it if they tryout. Very different dynamic than in year's past.
Not. Gonna. Happen.
You have been posting about this supposedly great BLC team for ages. Well the ‘26 Stars and ‘26 Pride teams are incredibly good and ranked nationally. Those girls are far more likely to make Capital than someone from BLC. Any girl that good should have switched programs last year. Capital is not going to take half their blue treat from BLC.
No dog in the fight but I concur that BLC 27 team has more players who could make capital than other years. 2026 has no relation to 2027 and the 27 BLC team is an anomaly compared to older years (don’t know enough about younger years to comment).
The BLC 27 as you say is an anomaly. The rest of their teams are not good and far from competitive.
As for 27 Capital, I'd lock in odds right now that probably no more than 5 girls from the current Stars 27 team make Capital Blue. Not sure where they will all come from but the Stars dynamic is drastically changing.
