The real estate records in the Redfin listing now reflect the correct sales price. But the sold price at the top still wrong.

Not an attractive street. Pretty heavy traffic.

Lol, I love all the boosters here talking about how $1.72 was a totally fair market value for this house and all the other posters were just ignorant about prices in that part of Bethesda.

No skin in this game whatsoever - BUT has it occured to you that the person who input the information into the govt system entered it incorrectly? Even the Weichert website shows it as $1.7M. If anything I would think their information would be correct since they were the listing agency.

Weichert pulls data from the MLS just like Redfin and Zillow and all the other end-user sites do. The land records are more likely to be correct.

Got it. thanks for explaining that.

Nice try, but you can look up the purchase documents on mdlandrec.net. You need to set up an account; the tax id for the property is 00588858. The deed shows the sale price of $1.27 million.

"nice try"? I wasn't "trying" to do anything, just brought up the possibility that the input was incorrect. You need to chill out.

So sketchy that the seller's agent still hasn't fixed the price.
