As a council member, he's funded important priorities, pushed for / passed legislation that's helping.

For example: paid family leave - the mayor proposed diverting some of the money for that. We'll see where the budget lands, but White came out pretty strong against that. That's a pretty big one for middle class families. Unless you're talking about "DCUM middle class" / 500k+HHI?

Anecdotally, I've got friends right by RFK who reported very minimal noise but people much further away heard it, presumably the temperature inversion is why.
