The issue with this is that many of us feel pretty crappy with one night stands.


Sex is so highly intimate. It takes a while for me to build up that level of trust.

Sex is supposed to be intimate and with someone you trust.

I personally think problems come because people don't know how to be in a relationship everything is centered around sex the entire dating experience but yet magically you're supposed to know how to be in a relationship when that's never been the focus it's been all in sex and going to bars, concerts, restaurants and really fun dates. People don't know each other when they get married and then when they can't have sex 24/7 they realize they didn't know and actually hate their partner

Three months for us. Both of us are slow burners.

We as in society at large. Casual sex is a myth and it doesn't help anyone.

I do believe in the general “rules” of dating, but I also think with the right person suddenly none of the rules apply!

2nd date, but only because l was having my period during first date. We had insane chemistry.

3 months before. Married 35 years.

I can see a couple with really great chemistry having a lasting relationship after sex on a first or third date, but it is pretty rare.
