Taco Bell does not offer anything anywhere in the same league as Chipotle's shredded beef barbacoa, fresh guacamole, corn salsa, and sauteed fajita veggies. Chipotle is good because they turn over the ingredients so frequently, so you're always likely to get fresh items. However, ordering on the app is hit or miss.

As for $16+, it's easy to do it you go double meat and add guac. My boys are in college and they will sometimes get triple meat, so $20 a bowl! That said, you don't have to tip, so it's not so bad. And better to load up on lean protein than eat a $20 greasy pizza, sub sandwich, or cheeseburgers.

Cool, yeah, thanks for the lecture, they have more (watery, overcooked, overpriced) items on their menu than Taco Bell, I'll give them that. Much of what they offer just isn't very good though, so the variety itself isn't impressive or appealing.

NP. That might be your opinion, but objectively Chipotle and Taco Bell are two different classes of restaurant food, and most people would not consider Chipotle to be “Taco Bell quality” because most of the ingredients are fresh, relatively healthy, and unprocessed. If you’re eating our regularly, it’s certainly better to eat Chipotle than your average Taco Bell entree. That’s the point PP was making, not a subjective judgment on non-wateriness or price or variety.

A few days ago I ordered a papa johns pizza that looked like it had been made by a drug addict. I called the store and the manager personally brought me a new replacement pizza and coupon for a free pizza

That’s quite possible!

That's not her job, that's those people behind the counter

Cool. Well, you can die on the "not my job" hill, or you can have correct food to eat.

So you in the camp of "it's cool to not get what you pay for"

I see Gen Z has entered the chat.

No, reality and adulthood have entered the chat.

And I'm Gen X, but you tried.
