I don't own them, but thanks for digging up a month old thread to mock the first pair of dressy sandals I came across in a google search. You're a real gem, lady.

Honestly, I would work to upgrade my family’s wardrobes. My husband is a tshirt guy, but he wears plain black tshirts, which read as nicer than say, an oversized ill fitting free t-shirt with some random company’s name on it. He wears shorts that fit him properly and are fairly slim cut so he doesn’t look sloppy. My kid is still young enough that they aren’t buying their own clothes, so I control what comes in the door and they can decide what they wear from what’s available. I conpliment them profusely, to them directly and to our friends we gather with, when they wear the stuff I like. You’d be shocked how much they react to that and reach for those items more often. I say nothing about the stuff I don’t like. After I get slightly elevated versions of the stuff they want to wear in the house, and weed out the crappier versions, how they dress has shifted over time, and they generally always look acceptably presentable.

I don’t think others notice. They are too busy with their own lives. I never notice what others are wearing unless it’s outlandish.

Im a DW who usually dressy causal and comfortable- jeans, college shirt, fleece and old running sneakers. It’s who I am. DH dresses up more - button up polo shirts, nice shoes, tailored pants. That’s his style. I don’t ask him to dress differently and he doesn’t ask me.

Maybe just let everyone be themselves.

I am simply more fabulous than others around me. Own it, OP -- maybe you are too!
