I’d keep my college age daughters and babysitters away from the husband. I certainly wouldn’t let them babysit for him.

I would punch the husband.

When I found out my husband had an affair I beat the crap out of him.

He wouldn’t leave and I kept telling him to because my anger:emotions were so high.

I would have loved to beat her too, but I didn’t want to go to jail.

Nowhere does the law agree with "violence is at times the answer." There are narrow circumstances where there are affirmative defenses that can be raised when one has acted violently, but at no time does the law say that such action is necessary or the answer.

In self defense. The mom was acting out her anger on another person. She was not at risk of being physically harmed.


3. Why are you bringing him (Will Smith) up ? Not relevant.


I had thought about bringing him up as well, but left it alone. But given this, the reason being how can we condemn Will Smith for slapping Chris Rock (I do) and not apply the same sense of judgment on a woman who punches the babysitter? We have to condemn both acts.
