the vaccination status of others has no bearing on whether you have to isolate/quarantine.
She’s the one who brought vaccination status up as if she was sending her kids to school like all were vaccinated. If it wasn’t relevant, she would not have mentioned that.
I meant that if her kids and spouse were vaccinated, they can still go to school/work. Doesn't matter if other students/coworkers are vaxed.

They're not. If they are vaccinated, going to school/work is perfectly acceptable. they are following the CDC's guidelines. not a "problem."

Op here. My kids were on screens, fighting, crying but they made it alive until Dh came home.
That’s fine. It really is ok if they had a rough afternoon on screens. My opinion is that he would only be expected to cut short a work day if you were really ill and not functioning well enough to be a safe (distanced) eye on them.

CDC guidelines say you don't need to isolate anymore if you are vaccinated. You are supposed to wear a well-fitting mask for 10 days instead, and test on day 5.
My office's policies follow the CDC. You're allowed to telework in lieu of wearing a mask at the office, but you don't have to.
Just fyi - it’s isolating when you are covid positive and quarantining when you are a close contact.
Close contacts don’t need to stay home (quarantine) if vaccinated - so long as the household contact is isolating away from others at home.
The clock starts all over again for masking and testing for each interaction with the covid case (that’s the day zero).
