Yes it's way too long. Plus I forgot everything in the prior book so I have to keep googling who everyone is- and I don't want to reread that one either as it's over 1000 pages too.
On a happier note, The 7 1/2 deaths of Evelyn Hardcourt is great. It's an Agatha Christie locked room mystery mixed with Groundhog's Day.
