I had a friend who dropped acid almost every day, before breakfast and then went to class. He still got into med school and is now a very successful plastic surgeon.

I wouldn't want to do a dead cat dissection while tripping, but different strokes for different folks.

I went to an engineering school. I once had a drunk guy hit on me and then explain a problem from the Differential Equations test that he took that morning.

I told him that he shouldn't drink and derive.

My high stat kid got into some of the schools on this thread and wants a party school more than just about anything else. I'm torn about what that will mean.

Or no Friday classes giving you Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night to go our with Sunday night to catch up on work. A college student with no part time job (I'm not talking about 8 hours of work study) and no sport has a immense amount of free time on their hands.

They may change, but when they are picking schools, they factor in how they feel about it now. And lots of kids really don't ever move to a partying life.

Not to mention, it's very easy to not have a single class before 11 AM. Much easier to party in college than HS.

When I went, Freshmen on up went because they had fake IDs .

Oh this particular bar you didn't get into with a fake, it was notorious for that. The other bar in town (yes there were TWO), yes all underclassmen.


Am guessing we went to the same college did they check IDs at the door using the college freshman directory … amazing how many freshman fake IDs got busted that simple way

Of course it's joke. Few Students are heading off to MIT to party and get a 3.0 which is "enough because they don't want to go to grad school". Maybe one or two but that really is for other places.
