NP. I'm still waiting for an answer to this question from somebody who actually attends/has family there.

I very much doubt this is real.

OP here. My kids attend the school. This was rolled out to all middle school students last week in an assembly and is being rolled out to high school students this week. It's on the GDS internal website for parents and students. It's real.

Not sure what you're talking about.

Look on MyGDS under DEI. It’s there. Was rolled out last week.

She thinks this new web tool is "stupid" because jokes, for example, made in a group chat could be easily taken out of context and reported as bias. While it's true the kids have always been able to report, the web tool makes it far too easy in a way that kids doing the reporting can do so without much thought or time to process.

Maybe they should stop making those kinds of "jokes."

Yeah, if you’re going to make jokes that need “context” you need to learn to be smart about who is hearing them and you need to not write them down. That’s just learning to be not an idiot. Safer to just not make jokes that need “context” but certainly not in a group chat. There are rules. Like you don’t scratch your balls in public.
