Re: wallets. I’m on my second KS wallet. The first one lasted 15 years.

I’m 42 and generally logo-averse but like good (not super expensive, I don’t have a Chanel) bags. I have a few Kate Spade that have held up for ~10 years (I rotate regularly, don’t carry a bag for months or years at a time) and most have held up well and I’ve received compliments. If I was to pick my favourite brand in a slightly higher (though still not Chanel or LV) price point though - it’d be Furla. I have several bags, a wallet, and so on. I’m personally still working from home post-pandemic so a new bag seems a little ridiculous right now (when I used to add 1 or 2 a year to the arsenal) but I have my eye on a Strathberry for my re-entry to the world

I buy KS because they’re not flashy, well built, and because I want to destigmatize mental health problems. I feel like it is important to support awareness about depression and suicide. I love my tote and use it largely for work. Love the jewelry as well. Low 40s here.

Nordstrom hardly carries any product in their stores these days. What they do have onsite isn’t anything great; it’s standard brands in safe colors peppered with a few flashy items.

Amen (Gen x here too). I look for practical purses and enjoy finding something unique. Could care less about labels (in face I aim to avoid labels of any kind).

This is spot on. My daily “Mom” bag is just a midsize slouchy leather tote. I keep a clutch in there to transfer cards, cash, phone etc. when going on date night or whatnot.

I don't think it's too trendy but I would not carry it since I don't wear logos (except on gym wear). But I doubt that most people would find it out of style or too trendy.
