Same poster again.... the color is Benjamin Moore Light Pewter, but our contractors got it in SW paint, and it was a perfect match.

Have you looked at Benjamin Moore Pale Oak? Depending on your lighting it can read more of a grey greige but never purplish. Not sure the SW equivalent but it's so popular that there must be one.
FWIW we have Agreeable Gray and it reads very cool in our house. If I had it to re-do I would have done something lighter and more on the taupe side, but I've lived with it for 4 years now and I'm not re-doing it anytime soon. I think any color can be on-trend if styled correctly.

OP we recently did a room on the ground floor with multiple sun aspects and done areas of artificial light. Big room. We went to SW and choose their most popular grays and bought samples. Everything changes in the space ! I think we went with repose gray. Good luck. Use samples

I guess that's what the other PPs meant when they said it depends on the space. It most definitely does not look purple in our space.
We have white uppers, gray lowers and a white quartz with minimal light grey veining. We also have a stacked stone backsplash that is a mixture of grey, white, clear glass and earth tone stone and it all blends well.

I would NOT be paying $$$$$ for new grey cabinets in March 2022. Grey has been out for a while. It became very middle class / common about 5 years ago. It’s like installing white appliances at this point. It’s not like you have to do everything on trend but at this point installing grey cabinets is a bad investment. You’re going to want new cabinets in 2 years.
Op here. I actually have no idea what you are referring to. I tend to be ahead of all trends because I am really big into following interiors, magazines and blogs. One thing I’m not behind on is trends. I don’t really understand the statement about middle class so I’m just going to ignore it. I am interested in a neutral kitchen because it is what I like. I am also interested in a neutral kitchen because it is timeless and classy. If I can’t find a grey that I like I will look into white…on heavens not white!!!! Yes white because it’s my house, I pay the mortgage. I live here.
You’re not as on trend and in the loop as you think if you’re considering grey cabinets.

Op here. Thanks. Green and blue are definitely on trend but aren’t colors I love. I also really don’t want to go with wood. It’s between white and grey two colors that I love but I do prefer the grey over the white. Fingers crossed I can find one I love. I’m also in my forever home so I’m not worried about selling. 😁

Agree on the classic comment. Thanks for the link. I’ll check it out. However, my kitchen is too small to mismatch the island with the perimeter. It all needs to be one color. I think my issue is now less with color in general rather than the marble I have is cool and it’s been a headache trying to pull a color from SW that will work with it as well the other off white in my open concept home.
Upthread PP here who recommended Reflection (/Alaskan Husky) - we have honed carrara marble in the bathrooms with a warmer greige-ish tile on the walls, and this color pulls them together well.
Op here. Thanks! I’ve consideres a honed marble. Too me it mellows it up a bit and takes some of the blue out of it.

Op here. I agree. I have many of the decals up as well as paint samples up and they are all blue or purple. I have the worse light in my kitchen.
Also should add that all of my colors are BM as well. I keep running across the Classic Gray for BM but am too afraid to gamble on having my carpenter color match at SW. I have had bad experiences in the past. I think I’ll try to Google to see if there’s a close match in SW. Thanks
