That’s good to know. I guess if they don’t send you anything, it’s a no go?
That's what I'm assuming. Tough year.
Mailman just came and didn’t bring us anything from SAES.

I think it's immediate. I just signed up and I see a package coming (sadly something I ordered, nothing from a school).

We applied because we know several families that send their children there, and they all had nice things to say about the school. Our family was kind, open, and receptive throughout the entire application process. We could tell during the parent interview that it was not a good match. The HOS was just short of openly hostile. It was a bit baffling.
I post this as a reminder to those pressing refresh on A web browser today to keep in mind that not everyone has the same options, financially or socially, for their children’s education. It may seem unfair to simply get a note on a website that your DC did not get accepted, but some of us don’t even get that level of courtesy.
Some of us are stuck with the “take it or leave it” public schools or applying to smaller institutions that yield what little power their position grants them with outright cruelty.

Anonymous wrote:Just signed up for the informed delivery and it shows no packages and no mail for today (or any prior day this week). Could be wrong, but if it’s instantaneous, given the volume of mail we receive on a daily basis, receiving nothing in the mail today would be a nearly impossible statistical anomaly.
Anonymous wrote:In our case we applied to Bullis as well, but the other poster said they only applied to SAES and are scheduled to receive a package from Potomac.

So, if we applied to Landon and Informed Delivery does not show mail or a package coming from them we should assume we didn't get in? This is too stressful.

I would assume small envelope equalled an unfavorable outcome. Better to be happily surprised than totally let down.
I would bet on it being unfavorable news if it came from Landon, SAES, Lowell, or Potomac because we know that they have communicated or otherwise shown likelihood of sending packages early on.
Exception:
Any mail from GDS could be a good sign because they specifically said they would not send to everyone.
