One of the organizers for the Hagerstown meet up, Kyle Sefcik, is running for MD governor. He's all about unmasking the kids, but on his Instagram story, he has his very young children sitting in the front seat of a truck sharing a seat belt. I don't even want to give him any attention, but is there a # for reporting something like this? CPS? @kylesefcikforgovernor

DC has a gazillion police agencies but no state troopers.

Why is that a point to make?
MPD, Park Police and others will for sure pull over and cite traffic violators in the city. DC police and other agencies also have ample equipment for towing including large vehicles.

(I think the point was to remind that DC is not a "state")

I saw an interview with one of the morons this morning on the news. They are protesting "the Dems" who have locked us all up over the last year. They need to be free and will no longer tolerate the lock ups.

Methinks the guy needs the kind of long sleeved jacket that wraps all the way around and buckles in back?

Actually, I thought they were trying to disrupt traffic on the Beltway. Damn straight there are state troopers that can and should take action alongside county police.

MD State Police already issued a statement they are monitoring the situation. The truckers were staged in Hagerstown last night. MDSP officers are most certainly state troopers.

I hope they aren't driving those trucks cross country while protesting high fuel prices.

^^^ Above is a video of the nearly empty parking lots at the Hagerstown Speedway where supposedly 3,000 vehicles are gathering.

I don't think the truck drivers will block the metro so you should be able to get there.

That's true.
We are planning on dropping a group of 10 off at the terminal.
