+1. ALL MD and VA schools should be on this list by the end of the month. No excuse now, Holton/ Landon/ PD/ Potomac/ FH, etc.

It’s just a new way of thinking/living.
Hospitals are just fine. People who choose not to get vaccinated might die. That's just the way it will be.
20% of deaths occured among vaxxed. But keep using unvaxxed as a scapegoat. I have a hard time blaming people for deaths when what we saw is a pandemic policy failure, Oh and damn, those kids under 5---they are not vaxxed so they deserve to die

Students and staff at over 99% vaccinated as of now.
They will do school-wide testing on 3/7 and 3/15 prior to spring break. (and offers optional testing on 2/22 and 2/28)

Until they get COVID then it’s back to science.
Life is full of risks. Covid is not a risk for a young, healthy and vaccinated person.
And that comment is precisely why we think you are a trash human being

Even if they are vaccinated, they can still bring it home to their kids. Additionally, a teacher testing positive and out for 10 days is much more disruptive to my DC’s education than them in a mask.
One of my DS teachers has a 1 year old at home. We have asked him to remain masked in her class out of respect. After everything these teachers have done over the past few years, it seems like the least we can do.
I think that is a ridiculous message to give your child. Of course he respects the teacher, but requesting him to do such a meaningless, performative act is simply parental stupidity.
I love it when y’all scream “only I can decide what’s right for my child” then blow a gasket when someone else does the same.
+100. Also good for the PP who asked their child to honor their teacher’s request. You are raising your child to have empathy and understand that it’s not always only about them.

Private schools are not public spaces. The mask mandate applies to public spaces.
Citation for this?
