My parents are there and very happy. They are older people of some means and I would describe the whole complex that way. People are nice and the staff is wonderful. They appreciate having a grocery and CVS right there and retail is coming in, albeit slowly. The purple line delay has made it slower than we had hoped for but they have signed commitments for a cafe/restaurant from the owners of Opal and a new Thai place coming in. Overall will be lovely in 2-3 years with the train stop. They don’t mind having neighboring apartment complexes with people that aren’t rich. Rents are still high for those buildings but just not Ritz level and they appreciate a little (tiny in reality) socioeconomic diversity.

’m saying if you live at The Ritz your immediate neighbors are renters in several Bozzutto buildings and it’s a completely different demographic. And everyone is on top of each other. Not to mention the construction is non stop and the area is now so congested with delivery drivers double parked everywhere outside the Amazon Fresh. I would never spend millions to live in that complex.

I’m saying if you live at The Ritz your immediate neighbors are renters in several Bozzutto buildings and it’s a completely different demographic. And everyone is on top of each other. Not to mention the construction is non stop and the area is now so congested with delivery drivers double parked everywhere outside the Amazon Fresh. I would never spend millions to live in that complex.

If anything, the average demographics of Chevy Chase are too poor to live in such a place because they bought their Chevy chase house 40 years ago for 3 blueberries

That neighborhood has a weird feel because they built it all at once and the houses are huge and really close together.


Nice house. I love the sunroom. Weird that the owner couldn’t even be bothered to empty the closet for photos.
