It's impossible to really bring up anything at a parent coffee these COVID days. They moderate the chat and answer/spin the questions that they want to answer.
This is an outrageous lie. They spent hours answering the same stupid questions over and over again, politely and with grace. The real issue is that you’re not asking a question - you’re throwing a tantrum until the school cow-tows to your demands. Guess, what? Most of us completely disagree, find your repeated questions half-witted at best, and enjoy the spectacle you’re making of yourselves on dcum.
I welcome though that you finally found your voice to ask your question at the coffee but then you didn’t like the answer so you asked it over and over again. But can’t I drive drunk, but I only had one bottle of rose, but I drink all the time and it’s never a problem when I drive — it was like that, cringe cringe cringe
Again with the lame efforts at policing others and invoking "most of us" in some sort of disturbed attempt to shout down others. I don't know who you think you are addressing, but I'm not even certain what grade(s) you have kids in, what grade(s) you think I have kids in, and what parent coffee you think I attended where they spent hours answering "stupid" questions over and over again and someone threw a tantrum. Anyway, it wasn't me. But regardless, why don't you stop attacking other posters on here? You make yourself and the school look bad.
Yeah, not lame. Gets you to show your true face every time. It’s accurate though; exactly what happened the other week. I heard the coffee overrun bu at least an hour, with the same question over and over again… yawn.
Well, I'm sorry to disappoint you but I don't know anything about that. And why are you talking about something that you didn't even attend either?
Your efforts are indeed lame; it is amusing to see you try to police this board with your Sidwell cape on, talking about how "no one cares" and "everyone knows" as if you know everything and everyone. My "true face" is simply that I believe people should be able to communicate on a public and anonymous message board without being subjected to nasty and smug personal attacks.
Wah wah wah

Who paid for the private jet to Minnesota?
I did. So what? Come talk to my face if you dare

Quaker schools have supported school sporting competitions for over 120 years. Typically the Quaker schools competed within Quaker Leagues.

If the moderate the chat, it probably is for the best.
I am sure that there are appropriate avenues through which you can express your concerns. Coming to DCUM as a first resort doesn’t seem the most constructive way to do so if these matters truly do concern you.
Otherwise I’m not sure what you are doing.

Yes, let's all praise recruitment! *eyeroll*
My kid can't travel for an academic related pursuit but the basketball team can?
And not have one field trip in 2 years?!?! Or minimester?
