There was no violence in this incident.

Also, it puts a little hole in the narrative that anti-maskers are always white redneck Trump supporters.

Good for the lady for standing up. I don’t disagree with a think she said, but I do feel bad for the employees.

The woman is African American and was anti-semitic. She was being aggressive. She should be charged with a hate crime.

disgusting

Saying something anti-Semetic is not a hate crime. It is covered under free speech. A lot of offensive stuff is. Just because it's considered despicable by (most) of the population doesn't make it a "hate crime."

Next time the employees need to simply stop engaging with these attention-seeking idiots. Just go about their business and only engage with those who are masked. If they stop giving an audience to them, they will leave. And if these anti-maskers are so upset, let them go complain to the health department and law makers.

I say call the police as soon as they refuse to mask and then ignore them.

The police do NOT want to get involved in this nonsense. The lady was not doing anything illegal.

We have had people call the police on our business for employees not being masked.

The police clearly didn’t want to be involved in that nonsense.

She is racist and antisemitic and being aggressive. It wasn't about the mask but her threatening and insulting the employee. If she were a different race, people would be in an uproar about the racism. This was a hate crime/attack. She deliberately went to the restaurant looking to provoke and post on social media for attention. She and the man she were with consider themselves "activist" and were here for an anti-masking rally. She purposely targeted this restaurant. Its not a know restaurant and a small business in an out of the way area.

She didn’t say a single thing that was anti-Semitic.

Yes she did.

What did she say that was anti-Semetic?

Wear it to the table, take it off and live your life. Do you shout at TSA about taking off your shoes?

I don't get worked up at businesses. I simply don't enter those that require masks. But that's a lot easier where I live.

This. There’s ZERO science to mandate the face diaper.

100%. You people need to get out of your little bubble. Millions upon millions of Americans and others worldwide are living mask free just fine. It is nothing but political mask theater at this point. I don't agree with what these people did, as if it is the rule, then you should comply, but the issue is why it is the rule. Cloth masks are pretty much useless. We are told if you are vaxed your chances of ending up in the hospital are extremely low, and it is always your option to continue wearing the mask if you are so unhealthy and/or so afraid. The areas of the country that have not and still do not have mask mandates have similar and in many cases better infection and death rates per capita as the areas with strict mask mandates.

I'm not in a bubble. I spend a lot of time in places where no one wears masks for anything. That's fine. Those places can choose the rules that work for them, that's democracy. When I'm in Montgomery County I follow the rules, and I don't go yelling at random restaurant employees. There's zero excuse for that.

Pretty much exactly as I stated. The people in the bubble seem absolutely aghast at the thought of people walking around, shopping and going to school without masks. It is happening probably in probably more areas than not these days and is not cause for alarm, as other posters on this thread have demonstrated.

Np the mask free are also in a bubble. They are free to go to their maskless bubble The end.

You can wear your mask for infinity and beyond if you like, but others should be able to choose, especially since the whole argument here is that having a partial mask policy is pretty much worthless. The end.

“The end?” Are you 9? Fool.

My favorite is the usual case that when you're walking around you usually aren't talking, and usually don't have your mouth open.

But when you're sitting at a table with others, you're laughing and talking and having a jolly old time. But of course, you aren't spreading germs all over then, are you? No way.

This is a carry out.

Did you watch the video? It was a Black lady yelling.

Read the PP again. That's what she was saying.

They will eat without masks, they will take them off and most people do not put them on when talking to their waiter.
So, the circus of having a mask on when you enter and exit is also insane and makes no sense. Stupidity all around.

+100
Glad I'm in VA where we can go into restaurants, sit down, eat, laugh, talk - with no masks. These people are total idiots, but mask theater is alive and well.
