Not a troll. My wife liked nice things so I know how much these bags cost. And it is not just these things. She's also gone on a couple really nice vacations in the past year and the only pictures she's put up on Facebook show her dressed up or on the beach but not with anyone else.

So next time she comes over, maybe just ask her if she's getting good deals after your compliment her on her bag or shoes or whatever. Or tie it into a convo about how she has great style like her Mom.

Or ask her how work is going, and if she's doing ok financially. Just don't mention that you're worried she's a sugar whatever. Make it more about how you might want to help her again if you want. Or just let it go. Lots of people have different ways of spending. You really can't control it, and it really doesn't sound like there is a lot of reason to worry.

You clearly don't know a lot of women in their 20s. A lot of young women (and men) post solo pics if they're in a new relationship. It's kind of a big deal to post a new boyfriend and a lot of young people tend to wait until the relationship is serious before posting them.

OP, and what if she actually is a sugar baby? You can’t tell her to stop. She is a grown ass woman so you’re better off not knowing. Also, you would ruin your relationship if you show any sort of disapproval or judgement so just let it go.

Agree with this because by this time, at this age, you are too late.
Either you taught her to have enough self-worth and self-respect not to be a hooker or you didn't.
She may also have been brainwashed by the social media / female empowerment complex (see TV show "The Girlfriend Experience" or google "Washingtonienne" circa 2006) to mistakenly believe that because she is making money and can be choosy about whom she "dates" that she has some sort of control and sense of agency.

Hope she is using Poshmark, Tradesy, Ebay, RenttheRunway or any number of the brick & mortar consignment boutiques. You can get lots of great deals. The photos sans friends are concerning though, as is her reticence in telling you about whom she is travelling with.

There's no reason a parent couldn't ask an adult child, "Hey who are you going to Aruba with?" OR, "Nice bag. Where did you get it?"
