Children's National Medical Center used to have a nursing shortage because they so under paid their staff.
After paying a consulting firm 1 million dollars to analyze why they couldn't retain Nurses and why they were forced to recruit from the Phillipines and Nursing Agencies the consulting firm told them : you are under paying
????? They actually paid a consulting firm 1 Million to get the same answer EVERY nurse who quit was telling them
So, they doubled everyone salary based on seniority.
Guess what happened ? No more Nursing shortage
