She is doing better than Smith, IMO. I’ll take her any day over Smith.

I give her a ton of credit on the pivot. I can see where her head was at with the color-coded stuff, but that's a 2020 strategy not in alignment with the rest of the region/nation. A pivot back to normal couldn't have been easy, but it was the right decision. Sorry but that's where you're wrong. Go speak to a medical worker on the front-lines. It is not normal. Wish it was, but that's inconsistent with the hospitalization numbers.

A good leader will see the consequences of their own actions, not double-down on bad ones.

Actually I’m a parent who has been very vocal about criticizing MCPS. Sexual assault coverups? Ridiculous SEL lessons? I have complained loud and often.

But how can y’all blame this on Dr. McKnight?

She’s given advice from the County Health Department. The same ridiculous County Health Dept that made us close outdoor playgrounds last year when surface transmission was known not to be an issue.

Blame the incompetency of the DHHS staff. This is not on McKnight.

McKnight, not anyone from DHHS, makes the decision what to do at MCPS. McKnight made the call. She owns it.

MCPS has failed spectacularly this week. I’ve rarely seen this level of miscommunication and dysfunction anywhere!

We spent so much time and money standing up a virtual platform and now won’t even open it up for families who want it when the pandemic is at its worst.
