Is deep blue Chicago full of nut job Trumpers?
Someday people are going to have to learn nuance.

Good question.
I believe Chicago got $2 Billion of that money.
I want to know this too. TWO BILLION DOLLARS for one city. And they still claim it’s not safe to open schools. After they’ve already failed their students for over a year. I hope at least a few people go to prison for that.
They need to fire every single one of the teachers and admin in that school system, starting at the very top. And then start again. No unions.

I really do not know what the right answer is in this matter. The experts keep changing the facts and theories on covid. Many of the students and school personnel remain unvaccinated. Teachers are people too. They have their own fears surrounding this dreaded disease that continues to mutate. They have families and children they love and want to protect, so they don't want to get infected and take it back to their homes. I feel for the teachers and I feel for the the students. I do know that if I was a teacher, I would be seeking different employment at this time. I would also discourage my children from entering the teaching profession. The pay is horrible, the rewards few, and like government workers teachers are despised.
If there was no way to make the schools safe, whoever lied there was should be impeached and the money should be returned!

An honest Justice Dept. might start to investigate where the billions of dollars in Covid relief went........
But, they really have to crack down on PTA moms complaining to School Boards.
