What does "this is a total whiff" mean?
Means they think the snow will be a non event and OPM closed prematurely.
I got the context but have never seen the phrase. Does "whiff" mean not real or nothin?
I’ve always heard it in the context of baseball, a huge swing with no contact with the ball is called a total whiff. So, it basically means a big embarrassing strike.
