He makes her laugh so much and they’ve been having breakfast together. I brought her piano music and she is now practicing on the baby grand in her AL. She hasn’t played in a few years and really rusty but after she finished one song she received applause from the residents. I had tears in my eyes.
Meanwhile one brother is still on the warpath and keeps badgering me insisting I give him a copy of my POA. My attorney advised me not to and ignore him. He is also pestering our mother that we need mediation. She agreed because she thinks it will solve this egregious situation between us. I explained to her what a mediation is. They think a mediator will change my mind as far as her care and or change her mind to revoke my POA. She said that won’t happen! I told her the attorney said mediation is ridiculous given the situation and a complete waste of time and money. On a positive note I called my eldest brother and asked him to please talk to this brother and tell him he’s causing undo stress for her. I thought he might tell me to F off but to my surprise he totally agreed and even said he had already talked to him about it that morning. He said he would talk to him again. I was so happy that 1 brother is finally coming around. Praise the lord!
The level of drama and commitment to coming back here and proving a bunch of posters who doubted you wrong is a little side eye inducing OP. I haven't posted much in this thread but every time you post I am more convinced that you are an exceptionally unreliable narrator or a troll.
