The last thing DH and I are is lazy. We engage with our child every waking hour we are with her - talking, reading, singing, and playing. She clearly needed to see her 8.5 hour/five day a week teachers talk. Same with her classmates. To say this is the parents fault is stunningly ignorant.

Plus you have no clue how much better your child would be if she didn’t have masked teachers. Way to thwart her potential, PP.

DP Yes, congratulations, you and other parents have children that are not vulnerable to speech delays.
That doesn't mean other children aren't being impacted by masking. Duh. It also doesn't mean your children's social development is not being impacted.

Only in a group care setting. My kids (2.5 and six months) are doing great playing outside with other little kids and engaged and learning at home with a great nanny, DH and me. I totally understand that nanny care is unaffordable to many but fewer on this board than you think. We sacrifice for our nanny. We own our condo but many of my friends with nannies still rent and rarely go out to eat. Neither of my kids have seen TV yet.

I'm curious if anyone has a child in a 2s room and ever sees photos where most children are wearing their masks correctly? Even during the half of the day when they are supposed to wear masks I'm fairly certain about 30-50% of children are not covering their noses. This is such a joke and a cruel one at that.
