Is that meeting the right person just because they said yes? Odd logic you have.Anonymous wrote:Anonymous wrote:Believe it or not, there are perfectly desirable people who'd like to get married and have a family, but for whatever reason, it doesn't happen for them.
Sure, if you’re Brenda from DC…not if you’re a wealthy celebrity named Luke Wilson. If he asked someone to marry him, they would say yes.
Exactly. Some people settle just to say they got married but for others they may have not met the right person and don’t want to settle just to settle. I get it.Anonymous wrote:Believe it or not, there are perfectly desirable people who'd like to get married and have a family, but for whatever reason, it doesn't happen for them.

Sure. But he was a playboy who always dated younger models, etc.
Luke doesn’t seem to date.
An aside but some of us always found Clooney slightly creepy - the fact he is really into pranking people and is close friends with Julia Roberts are two red flags for his true character — and don’t totally buy his insta-family-man stuff either.

I wouldn’t.
I could see why a young dumb star-focker would say yes to an actual celebrity. This guy is just an okay looking working actor.

We are not talking about the impact of a mother’s career on her children, the impact of societal privilege, or the merits of quality acting.
This is simply fun gossip. Please don’t ruin it!
Anonymous wrote:So, Luke Wilson is nice looking but not gorgeous. He is also only an OK-ish actor at best — Owen, for better or for worse, is a far far far better actor and has real presence on the screen.
The question should not be why hasn’t (perfectly nice and fine) Luke broken out and become a big star, but instead, the observation should be how remarkably far being the sibling of a more talented actor — and perhaps most importantly, being a pre-fame close friend of Wes Anderson — has gotten a completely average white guy.
