I just feel so gross. If it’s common for roaches to be fried and bagged into chips at well known companies I don’t really want a free bag.

Not common but it happens. If you are an adult and this is the first time it’s happened, obviously not that common.

I don’t buy a lot of processed snacks, so was wondering if this was more common now especially with fewer workers. I got Cheerios for the first time in a decade because we had a car trip and I wanted a single serve tub for my toddler… I opened the seal and found mouse poop inside the cereal.

Did you let the company know?

I did let them know, haven’t heard anything from them yet.

Some worse than others, but with constant deliveries of produce and boxes of goods. Bugs get in.

I saw a large roach crawling up a wall in a restaurant. Having lived in a 3rd world country, I kept eating. My coworker was outraged and wanted to report them to the health department.

There's a place in Mclean, Va that has roaches crawling on the floor while diners are sitting and eating. I have no idea how that place is still open!

What place is that? I live in McLean and don't think I've ever seen a roach anywhere. I believe you, just wondering if I'm oblivious or have not been there.

I find tiny little worms in broccoli all the time. That's why I won't eat it raw, only cooked (if you boil broccoli, the worms detach and you can see them floating in the water).

I saw this happen at the pho place in Columbia Heights except it was a medium sized roach. Nobody else seemed to notice except me and DH.

OH NO...I hope it wasn't my absolute favorite Pho place in CH! I was just there last night!!! UGH

It was my favorite before I saw that. I actually went back a couple times but I just couldn’t get over the mental pictures of roaches diving into the giant broth pots and scuttling under the garnish plates.

Big whoop.

Toss the chip, eat the rest. You'll live. People eat bugs on purpose.

Are we sure there aren’t more contamination issues due to worker shortage and supply issues? I mean there was the 2 million pounds of pork just recalled today due to listeria, and Coca Cola just recalled a bunch of their product lines for metal bolts or washers being found in them.
