I met a prince from Niger in DC when I was in my 20s. He was handsome, kind and well educated and also my age. We went on one date. I’m Indian (Hindu) but not vrry religious. He was Muslim. I thought that might pose a challenge problem. He was was taking pilot lessons and was an avid equestrian. I honestly felt he was out of my league. I couldnt imagine us together, so I let him down. He was a perfectly charming Prince!

I only get email offers of marriage from Nigerian princes who want to help me cash in lottery winnings that I wasn't aware that I entered, so... no.

Am PP who was involved with man I suspected and still suspect of being some kind of royalty. He could cross his eyes and then uncross them very easily with no problem and I know this is something people from royal bloodlines can do. Plus his hairstyle also had "that" type of look. Anyhoo, I suppose it is possible he is not a prince or royalty but I still think I am correct.

Sure. If I ever got into that circumstance why not? I mean right now I'm not princess material.

Probably not. It seems like it would come with a lot of responsibilities and hassles that I'd rather not deal with.

What? That's kind of an odd thing to do...

Realistically no and royal families are always bonkers and I don't think I'd like being in the public eye or dealing with royal protocol.

But also, I was thinking the other day how I have zero reasons to ever wear anything more formal than jeans right now in my life, and the idea of being able to dress up on the regular sounds pretty wonderful. Also getting to do things like go to the opera and do charity work where everyone gets everything ready for you in advance and your whole job is the photo op and not really doing anything hard (I volunteer regularly and I'm glad I do but listen, sometimes the hard work is not fun), that kind of thing. Also being able to go to the summer castle or whatever or go "on tour" and see a bunch of countries. I'm sure it's hectic and miserable in many ways, but my life could use a tiny bit of glamour at the moment.

Still, I think I'd rather jus save up for opera tickets and either go with a friend or drag my husband along. Royalty really probably is not worth it.

There's no way a British crown prince could survive or own a million-dollar house (as the Prince of Venice does) based off English cuisine. Its gross. The Thai Crown Prince would be fine. So would the Japanese Crown Prince.
