I bought a set of bags from Amazon and Olán to use that. I’m thinking it will be much easier and shorter.

I would totally give her $100 for wrapping 20 gifts. 15 minutes per gift, $16 an hour, it is minimum wage. And several hours of work.

Are you saying her regular wage isn’t enough?!!

I was a nanny for 5 years and I loved wrapping gifts. I think I offered to wrap gifts the first year and then she knew if she needed help, I was happy to do it. I had down time during naps and preschool.

Waah..my math...5 bucks per gift. More than minimum wage but in keeping with nanny wage.

Just tell her to take the gifts home and wrap it there. You give her the wrapping material and pay her $100 for her work. It will take her several hours.

For those we said I can wrap gifts myself, yes I can but first,I am left handed and very uncoordinated so it never looks good and second, doesn’t it take you a few hours or so to wrap ~20 gifts and make them look nice? I can do most things but not everything so I try to ask for help. And with 2 kids and a time intensive job as a medical researcher I am always so grateful when something is taken off my plate.

If you’re that wrap-challenged, why don’t you buy things at places that have wrapping services? All department stores do this.

Or use gift bags!! Go to the dollar store and get gift bags.

I wouldn't force her, but it seems reasonable to ask her if it's something she'd be willing to take on.
