Lmfao considering I said “I don’t have a dog in this” since I don’t have a child playing in either.
You selectively chose a few states. Guess what, lots of West coast coaches were at the CA GA showcase. Guess what else, each of these leagues schedules regional showcases to make it easier for college coaches to make it showcases that are more convenient to them.
And if you are a mid-Atlantic player who wants to play in the mid-Atlantic, you really don’t need to go to TN or CA to get recruited.
Give it a rest. Both leagues provide good opportunities for players to play at a higher level and to boost their likelihood of being recruited.
I like your confidence. You state your opinion like it's fact; which it's not.
But you're an outside observer....so you know.
I assure you that the GA did not sechede a west coast showcase for the benefit of east coast schools which is where 99 percent of east coast kids will be attending.
I chooses those locations because they are border states where the majority of the kids from this area will attend college. I can do more stats if you like.
Talk about confidence. Yours seems very misplaced. 😂😂😂
Both GA and ECNL offer strong competition and the opportunity to play at showcases around the country in front of college coaches.
The GA Is not a strong national league. Full stop
I’ve seen them both. They both provide girls with good opportunities for high level competition in a “national” league.
That you find it necessary to trash GA while trying to push for ECNL makes you come across as a used car salesman who spends more time trashing the competition than actually listening to your customer.
Lol - okay.
But just remember - it's the used car salesman that tells the customer that the vehicle is better than it really is .....
A good vehicle sells itself without the incentives and mark downs.
A base Dodge Charger is not a hell cat. The average person won't know the difference - but a car person most certainly does - and if ever compared side by side - it will be drastic.
Bad car reference. The hellcat is total junk (try to do too much on the charger platform without adjusting the platform enough to handle it - leading to so many hellcat quality issues). Hopefully the soccer platform you are calling the hellcat in this analogy is of much more quality. Just having fun with this but had to call it out since the hellcat is a dumpster fire. A car you can only drive in a straight line but can't handle any turns, electrical issues, etc. etc. Love the approach, but please use a better car analogy next time.
Probably even more on point, if what you say is true. Like with the cars, both leagues will showcase poor handling of turns, bad connections, etc., but maybe one is a better product, primarily because it is packaged better and generates more sales.
Both cars are perfectly capable of getting you from point A to B. If you know how to drive.

Anonymous wrote:Oh my gosh, why are you so stuck on insisting that ECNL is better and trashing GA? Do you feel threatened by the Girls Academy? Guess what, colleges recruit from both.
I mean seriously, you have issues.
Parents should focus more on helping their children play for a good coach that will challenge them and help them become better players and play as many games against meaningful competition. No league has a monopoly on this.

+1
I challenge anyone to post a roster with more than 2 local kids west of the Mississippi.
That is the case though, because ECNL and Girls DA didn’t provide enough cross country trips. Now, thanks to GA, in 4 years half of UC Riverside’s roster will be FCV players.
