I find the format terribly boring: one hour of someone talking AT the audience in a clearly contrived way (same goes for the one-hour talking head shows on Fox and MSNBC too). It's one thing to have a show hosted by one person who brings on an array of interesting guests for two-way or group discussions, and it's quite another to have someone talk to themselves for an hour.

This is an interesting thought. And CNN seems to be more forgiving of certain transgressions, since they kept Jeffrey Toobin on after his flashing incident. I think enough time has passed for Brian Williams wrongdoings that CNN would totally snap up him for the viewers who would follow him.
