NP. I also loved the body diversity, especially among the females. There was the strong one with muscles, Mirabel looked like a normal 15 year old girl, the moms looked like moms, even the “pretty” sister didn’t fall into the stereotypical Disney beauty with a button nose, impossibly thin waist, and giant boobs.
I was especially happy over the strong one - I lift and DD likes to exercise along with me, so it’s nice to show that women can be physically strong and still be valued and feminine.

Anonymous wrote:I'm on team it was... ok. Too many intertwine rapidly fired characters. The songs were not memorable, the animation was beautiful. I couldn't make it all the way through the movies with my kids.

That singer has an amazing voice. Lin Manuel Miranda is so incredibly talented. Very well written. This might surpass Moana as her favorite.
Same! We have been watching on repeat all weekend. It's a brilliant movie with an incredible soundtrack, I'd say some of Lin-Manuel Miranda's best work to date. I read that Waiting for a Miracle was written as the movie's power ballad, although my favorite song is We Don't Talk about Bruno.

So the grandmother with her newborn triplets running away from their home and seeing her husband die horribly wasn't tragic????
You have a cold stone for a heart my friend.
