Gone are the late night trips after away games and early morning drop offs. He’s even carpooling so he only drives a few days a week. Why do you care so much about other people. Op you are shallow and disgusting yourself.
My MoCo Fire and EMS husband has said he’s seen more dead young people in Honda Civics - especially 2 doors - than any other type of car. They really don’t perform well in crashes. Especially side impact crashes.

Teens generally are at MUCH greater risk of dying in car crashes, so should drive cars with really strong safety features (which are LESS likely to be found in old cars).

Sure but a sedan that's a two or three years old is a better idea than a brand new Porche or Mustang

It's a good lesson in life.
Some kids get new cars.
Some kids get new cars when they wreck their first new car.
Some kids get used cars.
Some kids get grandmas' cars.
Some kids just get to share with you.
Some kids get nothing.
It's easy to teach gratitude for most every level here. It's how every aspect of life works.

Wouldn't it be the best time to have a car with all the safety features?
