Seriously, my 9yo eats more than one slice. When we ordered food over Thanksgiving, my father repeatedly said he'd get her a slice. I'd correct him to order a medium pie and then when he ran down the orders again he'd say a slice for her. Rinse, repeat.
He sounds like my FIL. One time FIL was going to order pizza for dinner for the whole family (8 adults were present). He said he’d had a late lunch so 2 pizzas would be plenty because he and MIL wouldn’t eat very much. He, of course, ate 2 slices, which was the exact amount he’d allotted per person. I felt bad for dh and my BILs (all young men at the time) because they had not had a late lunch and nothing else was being served.
I run in to this all the time with my sister and mother. Mother and sister eats nothing but salads and alcohol. Family gets together at either’s house we always plan on eating out afterwards. Never enough food. One time we went to maggiano’s with 9 people and they were firmly against ordering the endless salads. You know for $2 more…something about being too much food. By the time the salad bowl made it to them it was empty…lol.

My kids are 12, 9, and 6 - and like I said - I always) have leftover and pizza is usually not the only thing I am serving. Usually IME the older eat more and the younger eat less so it evens out.

Yes. You filled up on green beans so anything more than 1 slice would be too much.
