I didn't think they were huge issues but I guess my spouse was unhappy. Sex was definitely at a low, but we have a pandemic baby and two older kids, and it's just a challenging time in our marriage. Perfect storm I guess. Their relationship started over texts and once my spouse started taking over some drop off/pick up duties it just went from there (nanny was not in-home but nanny share).

I'm being left for her.

What disturbs me is that you bring up your fantasies about him hooking up with another woman and you think that might play out here! If you are intrigued by that idea, fine, (I know I am), but don’t consider it to be a remotely okay situation for somebody going to hire and who will live with you. For one, can you imagine how the nanny would feel about your considering her living out your fantasy?

Plenty of young women don't have access to super rich finance guys, and will take someone they think will take care of her. I mean, she's a nanny. And plenty of young women have daddy complexes.

I wouldn't. I have seen the super hot young woman flirt with the older guy/husband because they want something.

It's common sense. Personally I won't have any live in nanny - I only do live out even though I have help at crazy hours. Better someone who lives nearby and has their own life.

My best nannies are in their 40s, had kids young, married, and live within 5 mile radius



You do realize this is the perfect scenario for cheating. Easy access and both with something to lose so they're more likely to keep it quiet to keep it going.

So if it's that the case a 20 year old nany shouldn't be a problem. Either your husband is a cheater or he isn't and your misogyny won't stop him. And yes busy people with kids cheat all the time.

I did summer nannying and a lot of babysitting while I was in grad school. I started with one family in a wealthy Boston suburb and the mother's friends all began propositioning me for sitting or summer stints on the Cape.

But more than one dad behaved sleezily with me or made an outright pass. I wasn't interested in them and didn't do anything to encourage that behavior, but it still happened often enough that I'd worry. And it was usually the guy who seemed like an upstanding family man, not the near absentee banker father. Very depressing.

Yeah it’s not true I loved a 40’s dad bod in my 20’s. But not married ones! Ew. Obviously the primary problem for the wife is her husband, but as an outsider those nannies are super gross and unethical.
