Wait, I'm totally confused...I thought I was number #62 but I have no issues with Oberlin. Maybe I'm #63? Or maybe I really do hate Oberlin and don't realize it? Not sure...no, I'm certain I don't hate Oberlin. I'm from Ohio for goddsake and if only there were 100 more Oberlins maybe the damn state would go back to being purple.
So, I guess I'm #63 and I have no bones to pick with any SLAC. Except for Swarthmore.

I’ll confess to being #62 but I harbor only positive feelings for Oberlin. I am a frequent visitor as I have a college junior and freshman and recently went through two very different admissions processes. My modest contribution here is to help people navigate the UK admissions process as I have a “lackluster” (DCUM you never disappoint) child that attends Cambridge.

This thread is hilarious. But seriously I do come to this thread a few times a day because I like to be a be a voyeur and have never posted until now. Going through the application process for the first time (and almost done!) and I’m mostly feeling bad about it because my daughter has a couple of C’s and a 3.3 and only a 1270. And TBH I thought a 1270 was great (88 percentile is good, right?) until getting caught up in this DCUM forum a couple of weeks ago. I also thought B’s were good but apparently they aren’t.
